ECO SANCT.
The Brief
This project is designed to introduce designers to the important collaboration that exists between design and social enterprise; the application of design-related skills and expertise in the advancement and fulfilment of projects initiated to meet the challenges that confront humanity; to make a difference and to make the world a better place. You must create a presentation proposal for potential investors, partners and stakeholders, who may now be approached with a view to realising the objectives of this enterprise. It is therefore essential that it is produced to a professional standard and is sufficiently autonomous to be read and assessed without reference to previous documentary stages in the cycle, and indeed in the absence of the initiator themselves.
My Approach
eco sanct. is a market connector social enterprise that establishes refill stations partnered with local, ethical cleaning brands for churches to receive non-toxic, biodegradable products in bulk. This initiative aims to provide tools and resources helping local churches transition from an outdated model to a circular, community-driven economy. This initiative not only aligns with responsible environmental practices but also reflects the ethos of care and stewardship in faith-based communities. The icon and colour gradients represent a circular life cycle. It also creatively encapsulates the letters in ‘ECO’ and mirror a sunrise/sunset to symbolise hope for the environment.
